David Lee Gow commence his career in Melbourne, graduating from Lincoln Institute in 1983 and subsequently completing a Research Master at the University of Salford UK in 1998, working in both Australia and UK .
David’s involvement within the industry has developed exceptional knowledge of upper and lower limb prosthetic treatment within the public and private sectors; providing Prosthetic Rehabilitation Services for clientele, participation in numerous rehabilitation courses, conferences and educational programs, including a 4 year Lectureship at University of Salford, UK.
David’s key interests are ensuring maximum potential for all amputees, by providing appropriate prosthetic services, Osseointegration rehabilitation for amputees and the development of rehabilitation service models.
Major clinical and research interests in Upper Extremity Prosthetic rehabilitation with Osseointegration and Target Muscle Innervation exists, enabling Australian and overseas presentations and publications in this area.
David is a Member of the Australian Orthotic & Prosthetic Association (AOPA)
